The Story Behind the Name
The word Polkadotted Rainbow is a nickname my friend Heidi gave me years ago.
When I asked her what it meant, she said, it’s just what you are.
Rainbows are happy.
Polkadots are happy.
You are both together.
I decided to name my publishing house Polkadotted Rainbow because children’s books are also full of joy and spread happiness.
Looking Toward the Future
My goal is to continue to publish a few other books and eventually bring in a few other titles that other authors have written.
Books Belong Everywhere
One thing that I do hope to address is that not all babies have loved ones reading to them at night and not all families can afford children’s books.
An important part of this endeavor is donating books to libraries and to communities where children’s books are considered a luxury verses a given in their homes.
